Half-melting, juicy autumn dessert pear, sweet with pleasant wine acidity and a melon-like aroma.
Growth
Moderately strong growth.
Yield
Medium and regular yields; fruit drop begins at the start of tree ripeness.
Notes
For garden and orchard up to low-mountain areas around 350 m, though with higher site demands. No special heat requirement but somewhat frost-sensitive; ripening is delayed in cooler regions. Pick late September to mid-October, ready to eat November to December, keeps 1 to 2 months with a long eating window.

Pick precisely at the onset of tree ripeness to avoid drop. In higher, wetter sites watch for grit cells and fruit cracking.
