Description
Fruit
Soft, half-melting, juicy early pear, faintly sweet-sour and without pronounced aroma. For immediate eating only, not storable.
Growth
Medium-strong growth, better grown as a standard tree.
Yield
From the third year, medium and regular; the fruit sits wind-firm until shortly before tree ripeness.
Notes
One of the earliest tasty dessert pears, with comparatively wide climatic tolerance. For garden and orchard up to 350 m, low soil demands, prefers somewhat warmer sites. Tree and eating ripeness mid-July to early August.
Care
Harvest in good time before full tree ripeness: fruit picked too late turns mealy and loses juice.
