Description
Fruit
Juicy, half-melting dessert pear, mildly sweet with little acidity and rather weak aroma.
Growth
Medium-strong growth. Suited to wind-open sites without particular soil demands.
Yield
Sets in early and crops regularly and heavily, but tends to drop fruit early.
Notes
For garden and orchard, up to about 350 m in wind-sheltered low-mountain areas. Pick late September to early October, ready to eat October to early December, keeps around 2 months. Chlorosis can occur on limey soils.
Care
Harvest before full ripeness to avoid losses from fruit drop. Choose a wind-open site.
