Visually attractive early-summer apple; only middling in flavour (rated 3+), the taste develops properly only with plenty of sun.

Tree of medium vigour.

Early harvest around mid to late August.

Only conditionally suited to the garden; a sunny site clearly improves flavour. Very short storage life (2-3 weeks).
