Description
Fruit
Fully melting, juicy fruit, sweet with wine acidity and only weak aroma. When hard-ripe also good for juicing.
Croissance
Very strong, broadly spreading growth, making a good standard orchard tree. As a heavy cropper it should be thinned in garden and espalier culture.
Rendement
Heavy cropper; the fruit hangs wind-firm until tree ripeness.
Remarques
Undemanding, can be grown even in rough low-mountain areas above 350 m, though best quality in milder regions. Tree and eating ripeness early September, keeps only 8 to 10 days. For garden, espalier and orchard.
Entretien
Thin the crop in garden and espalier culture as it is a heavy bearer. Use soon after harvest since it keeps only briefly. Watch for scab in closed, humid sites.
