Medium fruit ripening early and very uniformly to black.

Vigorous, spreading, robust to cold and wind; not self-fertile.

High and regular; oil mild, sweetish, low in bitterness – often blended with Frantoio.

Regarded as one of the few varieties tolerant to Xylella fastidiosa.
