Storage

Given in thirds of a month (early / mid / late) for the northern hemisphere in a temperate climate; altitude and season shift them.

Description

Fruit

Aromatic, juicy dessert apple (rating 2). Rather small-fruited at full crop.

Growth

Weak-growing tree that stays relatively small; less suited to orchards due to low vigour.

Yield

Heavy-bearing with little fruit drop, allowing selective harvest by fruit size.

Notes

Recommended for home gardens. Relatively healthy but prone to fruit and twig moniliosis (fruit may rot on the tree) and to bitter pit in dry conditions. Stores about 2 months.

Care

High, abundant yields with little fruit drop, good for selective picking.
