Uses
Other uses: Essential oil is extracted through distillation from the shoots and is utilized in perfumery and soap making. The leaves contain approximately 2% essential oil, while the wood has a content of about 2.5%. An infusion made from the wood is used in foot baths to combat excessive sweating of the feet. The wood is fragrant, very hard, and durable. It is a popular material for construction, furniture making, and wardrobe production due to its ability to retain its pleasant scent, repel moths, and resist woodworms.
