Almost white, porcelain-like pods and beans (hence the name). Extremely mild, nutty, almost free of bitterness.

Growth

Very delicate, low-yielding pure Criollo from the Maracaibo/Zulia region. Demanding to cultivate.

Very low yield; harvested year-round. Fetches the highest prices in the fine flavour segment.

Regarded as the epitome of fine cacao, basis of exclusive single-origin chocolates.
