Fruit
Smaller beans with a strong, astringent cacao flavour. More important as a genetic resource than as a flavour cacao.
Growth
Upper-Amazon clone collected by F.J. Pound near Iquitos. Vigorous growth, tolerant to root diseases and witches' broom.
Yield
Good yield; harvested year-round. Widely used as rootstock and in crosses (incl. a parent of CCN-51).
