Storage

Given in thirds of a month (early / mid / late) for the northern hemisphere in a temperate climate; altitude and season shift them.

Description

Fruit

Well-storing winter apple with faintly aromatic fruit (rated 3 where 1 is best), more culinary than dessert. Stores 5-6 months.

Growth

Strong-growing tree, robust against disease.

Yield

Late onset of bearing.

Notes

Suited to orchards, locally a little scab-prone. Note: trees sold by nurseries as 'Korbiniansapfel' are actually the variety 'Stina Lohmann'; the true Korbiniansapfel may be lost.
