Description
Fruit
Dessert apple with white, firm flesh. Individual fruits vary noticeably and are often angular. Good flavour (grade 2+).
Growth
Medium-strong growth. Compact, flat-globular, at most medium-sized crown. Main branches droop, main and side branches tend to go bare, side branches partly forked. Fruiting on one- and multi-year short shoots that bear terminally. Largely wind-firm.
Yield
Yield sets in early, regular and high.
Notes
Suitable for orchard meadow and garden. Thrives on almost any site and is robust overall. A genuine recommendation for meadow orchard and home garden. Stores about 3 months.
Care
When shoot growth weakens, frequent renewal via monitoring cuts is needed to counter bare-wood formation.
