Growing
Picea glauca 'Conica' prefers full sun but tolerates light shade. It grows best in moist, well-drained loamy soils with slightly acidic to neutral pH. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish roots. Fertilize before new growth in spring with low phosphorus fertilizer. Prune to maintain shape but avoid cutting into old wood.
