⚠️ Hazards
Toxicity: slightly toxic
The avocado plant contains the toxic Persin in all its parts, which is dangerous for domestic and farm animals. The highest concentrations are found in the skin and leaves. Avocado is toxic to dogs and cats and should not be consumed as it can cause significant heart muscle damage in large quantities. However, the flesh of the fruit is safe and healthy for humans, but other parts of the plant should not be eaten.
