Fruit
Pear-shaped fruit, 200-300 g, with thin, smooth green skin that stays green when ripe. Flesh mild, buttery, creamy.
Growth
Vigorous, spreading tree. Somewhat more cold-tolerant than Hass (to about -3 °C).
Yield
Irregular, markedly alternate bearing; a good winter supplier.
Notes
Long the world's leading cultivar before Hass; an important B-type pollenizer.
