Growth
Moderately vigorous tree.
Notes
Formerly very popular summer apple for garden and meadow orchard, recommended in NRW. Barely susceptible to scab, prone to canker on heavy soils. Frost-hardy, also for higher altitudes; keeps only 1-2 weeks.
Care
Harvest at exactly the right moment, when the green fruit on the tree just begins to lighten towards yellow; then use quickly.
