Description
Fruit
Rather small, firm and aromatic fruit with good flavour (rated 2).
Growth
Moderately vigorous, steeply upright when young, later weeping under the weight of fruit like a willow.
Yield
Crops relatively well, but biennially, alternating between good and poor years.
Notes
Robust against the main fruit diseases. Recommended for the home garden and especially for apple allergy sufferers; stores up to 5 months.
Care
Counter biennial bearing through pruning and fruit thinning; regularly cut back overhanging fruit wood to younger shoots.
