Acidic fruit, hardly suitable as a dessert apple. Pure processing and cider apple. Taste rating 3-4.

Tree of medium vigour; sensitive to wood frost, therefore better suited to warm sites.

For the orchard meadow. Regional variety from the Rhine-Main area and the Middle Rhine. Canker-prone on heavy soils. Stores about 2 months.
