Large, elongated, spindle-shaped fruit with a thick, highly aromatic, oil-rich rind, juicy mildly acidic flesh and few seeds.

Growth

Medium-vigour tree traditionally grown on pergolas on the terraced Amalfi coast.

Yield

Main ripening in spring; sheltered terraces allow a long harvest.

Notes

Protected as Limone Costa d'Amalfi PGI; ideal for limoncello thanks to its thick aromatic peel.
