Given in thirds of a month (early / mid / late) for the northern hemisphere in a temperate climate; altitude and season shift them.

Medium, elliptical fruit with a short neck, moderately thick pitted rind, very juicy strongly acidic flesh and few to no seeds.

Open, relatively small and largely thornless tree with less vigour than 'Lisbon' – ideal for containers and small gardens.

Bears almost year-round with a main crop in winter/spring; fruit borne toward the outside of the canopy.

Together with 'Lisbon' the world's most widely grown commercial lemon; more frost-sensitive than 'Lisbon'.
