Description
Fruit
Medium elliptical fruit with a pronounced apical nipple, smooth to slightly pitted rind, juicy very acidic flesh and few seeds – hard to distinguish from 'Eureka'.
Growth
Vigorous, large, strongly thorny tree with a dense canopy that protects fruit well from sun and cold.
Yield
High yields with main ripening in winter; fruit borne inside the protected canopy.
Notes
Alongside 'Eureka' the second global standard cultivar; favoured in hotter, exposed sites for its hardiness and dense canopy.
