Fruit
Medium oval to elliptical fruit with juicy, strongly acidic flesh, high juice content and an aromatic oil-rich rind, and few seeds.
Growth
Medium-vigour tree of the everbearing Femminello group that flowers several times a year, giving distinct crops (incl. Verdello and Bianchetto).
Yield
Very productive; several harvest flushes – autumn/winter (Primofiore), spring (Bianchetto) and summer (Verdello).
Notes
Italy's most important commercial and oil lemon; susceptible to mal secco.
