Fruit
Small-fruited, heavy-bearing cider apple (grade 4-), mainly spread in south-west Germany; not suitable for fresh eating.
Growth
Vigorous tree, but very prone to scab.
Yield
Heavy-bearing.
Notes
Because of its strong scab susceptibility, no longer recommended even as a cider apple. Traditionally common in the south-western wine regions.

Avoid damp, scab-favouring sites; choose an airy location.
