Description

Fruit

Dessert apple with high sugar content and a pronounced muscat-and-orange aroma; Cox-like but lower in acidity. Taste rating 2.

Growth

Weak growth once in full bearing. Upright, pyramidal, somewhat sparse crown; upright branches with moderate ramification. Wind-firm.

Yield

High and regular yields.

Notes

Only of limited suitability for the garden. Tends to re-bloom; thinning is advised for adequately large fruit. Stores for about 6 months.

Care

Regular maintenance pruning for continuous shoot renewal to prevent ageing of the wood. Thin fruit to obtain sufficiently large apples.
