Given in thirds of a month (early / mid / late) for the northern hemisphere in a temperate climate; altitude and season shift them.

Fruit

Dessert and culinary apple with a bruise-sensitive skin; flavour grade 3+.

Growth

Initially vigorous to moderate, only weak once in full bearing. Crown tall-oval, medium-sized, spreading with age. Weak branching tendency, so lower branch zones risk going bare.

Yield

Early to bear, at first heavy and regular; long-term only middling yields. Tends to pre-harvest drop, though fruit otherwise holds firmly.

Notes

For orchard meadow and garden, a very good keeper (seven to eight months).

Care

Because of the sparse branching, prune longer on vigorous wood and shorter otherwise; keep lower fruiting wood from going bare through targeted cuts.
