Fruit often small because the tree lacks vigour; flavour grade 2-.

Modern variety with single-gene scab resistance; tree grows weakly and is not very vigorous.

Bred for commercial growing with fertilising and crop protection; scab-resistant but prone to so-called Topaz spots. Keeps only about three weeks.

Good nutrient and water supply to counter the weak growth.
