Small to medium, deep dark-red to nearly black fruit with red, very juicy flesh and strongly acidic, aromatic juice.
Growth
Weak to medium vigour, well suited to espalier and shady north walls.
Yield
Heavy and regular cropper; classic processing variety.
Notes
Susceptible to Monilia blossom blight; regular pruning required.
