Description

Growth

The leaves are green, only the seed coat is red. The husk is short, enclosing the fruit only to its middle, and the catkins are short at 4 to 5 cm and egg-shaped.

Notes

Only rarely grown today. It differs from Rotblättrige Zellernuss in its short husk and short catkins.
