Growing

Broccoli prefers full sun and well-drained, nutrient-rich soil with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH. Set the plants in rows 30 cm apart with 45 cm between rows. Regular watering is important, especially during head development. Broccoli is propagated from seed and thrives best at cool temperatures of 18-21 ยฐC. Mulching helps conserve moisture and control weeds. Harvest when the flower buds are still firm and compact.
