Growing

White cabbage prefers a sunny site with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. The plant needs even moisture but should avoid waterlogging. Sow in spring or late summer, either directly outdoors or pre-grown under glass. Regular mulching protects the shallow roots and reduces weeds. Space plants in rows 30-45 cm apart. Harvest when the head is firm.
