Growing
Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Prefers neutral to slightly acidic soil. Avoid wet soils to prevent root rot. Propagate by seed, semi-hardwood cuttings in late summer, or division every 3-4 years. Cut back in early spring to maintain robust growth. Established plants tolerate drought and prefer sheltered locations away from extreme winds.
