Growing

Grow purslane in full sun with well-drained, lean to average soil. It tolerates poor, sandy, or compacted soils and dry conditions. Water deeply but infrequently, allowing soil to dry between waterings. Propagate by seed or stem cuttings. Avoid overwatering and rich soil to prevent leggy growth and rot. It blooms from late spring until frost and requires minimal care.
