Description

Fruit

Bright red skin with short, thick, greenish-tipped spinterns. White, firm, juicy aril, very sweet with a slight acidity; separates largely from the seed (semi-freestone).

Growth

Vigorous, tropical evergreen tree. Near the equator it flushes several times a year with no fixed season.

Yield

High, reliable yields; Thailand's leading commercial and export cultivar. Main harvest in south/east Thailand roughly May to September, year-round possible near the equator.

Notes

Preferred fresh-market and canning cultivar; good shipping and shelf life.
