Fruit

Large, conical fruit with wart-like protrusions (mamillate) and relatively thick skin turning tan-yellow at maturity. Excellent organoleptic quality, many seeds.

Vigorous subtropical tree, cultivated in central Chile.

One of the most important Chilean commercial varieties; sensitive during harvest/transport due to protrusions.
