Given in thirds of a month (early / mid / late) for the northern hemisphere in a temperate climate; altitude and season shift them.

Medium to large fruit of good quality with 18 % sugar and a medium vitamin C content. It ripens successively from late August and drops once ripe.

Moderately vigorous, 3 to 4 m tall, with green to greenish-white leaves flushed pink. The small flowers in May have a faint lemon scent.
