Description
Fruit
Dark blue bloomed, roundish-oval small fruit 1.5 cm long, weight 0.60 g, with light hairs at the tip. Slightly tart in flavour.
Croissance
Compact shrub 1 m tall with bluish-bloomed leaves.
Remarques
Self-sterile, requires a pollination partner. At the University of Saskatchewan it was crossed with Blue Belle, giving rise to Tundra, Borealis and the Indigo series.
Entretien
Site: Self-sterile — without a second, genetically different bush nearby there will be no crop. Plan a partner with overlapping bloom from the start. Care: Compact growth of about 1 m, so it also suits small spaces and containers.
