Uses
Growing
Hawthorn prefers sunny to partially shaded locations with well-drained, humus-rich soil. Regular but moderate watering is important, especially in summer. Propagation is done by semi-hardwood cuttings in summer or hardwood cuttings in late winter. Fertilizing with compost or manure can be done in autumn. It does not tolerate drought well.
