Fruit
Larger berries than most other varieties, black and slightly acidic, blending flavours of blackcurrant and gooseberry.
Growth
Early-flowering, tall and very spreading shrub with completely thornless canes.
Yield
First ripe berries by end of June; robust and resistant to mildew and leaf-drop disease.
