Fruit

Fruit size 2.5 cm, weight 1.60 g — twice the size of the 35 Russian selections. Best flavour (sweet-tangy) of 43 cultivars tested in Japan. Harvested mid to late June, the fruit turns slightly mushy under machine harvesting.

Growth

Grows 1.2 to 1.5 m tall. The flowers withstand frost down to -7 °C.

Notes

Considered the best cultivar for home gardens when the berries are eaten fresh off the bush.
