Who is behind Permaplans
Hey, I'm Taro. In 2018 I created Permaplay, plant portrait and planning cards for self-sufficient gardeners. The buyers wanted the cards as an app — so I started building a plant database.
Over many years and with several developers, that became Permaplans. I don't know a better tool for planning and documenting gardens, and I use it myself for my work as a consultant.
