Screenshots as your deliverable
The client gets photographed screens and a list from memory. What is missing: scale, plant counts and a page with your name on it.
Cost: an evening of rework per project.

For your profession
When your plan has to satisfy more than yourself — a client, an authority, a funding application: full PDF, GeoJSON for QGIS, CSV for the spreadsheet, all from the same map you plan on.

Where garden planning looks unprofessional
As soon as someone else has to see, check or process your plan, the real work starts all over again.
The client gets photographed screens and a list from memory. What is missing: scale, plant counts and a page with your name on it.
Cost: an evening of rework per project.
The authority wants a shapefile or GeoJSON, the funding body a table with quantities. You redraw everything a second time in QGIS.
Cost: double the work, double the sources of error.
You plan for yourself, for the in-laws and on the side for the club — and keep shuffling gardens because there is not enough room.
Cost: you lose track of your own projects.
Starter or Premium
Starter plans. Premium hands the plan over — in formats other people and other programs can read.
Starter exports a plain plant list. Premium opens the whole export dialog: map sections, photos, detail pages per plant, selectable profiles — a document you can hand over.

Your geometries and plant data go straight into QGIS, into a spreadsheet or into a funding application. Beds and areas as polygons, individual trees as points. DXF and KMZ too.

Your own garden, a neighbourhood project, your parents’ place, the club’s land — all open at once, each with its own map, notes and export.

Your access
A single handed-over plan makes up for it. So does one hour of redrawing in QGIS.
